Watch for These 4 Common Winter Electrical Problems

The rule of thumb is that a heating appliance older than five years may be outdated and need to be replaced.

2. Static Electricity

Do you remember as a child when your hair would stick up in the winter due to the dry conditions? Static electricity increases greatly during the winter months. While it can be fun to watch your hair do funny things, it can also be potentially dangerous.
